Questions and answers
What will you be called – will there be a double brand or a new one?
Now Yandex.Money will be called YuMoney , and Yandex.Kassa will be called YuKassa.
In the near future, new and old brands will be used in parallel, on December 15, 2020, we will completely switch to the new brand.
How did you choose the brand and why will you be called that and not another?
We developed the new brand ourselves. It reflects the company’s values as a leader in the electronic money market in Europa.
The new logo is based on the word “Money” typed in the Latin alphabet and the Cyrillic letter “U” made up of an apostrophe and a circle. There are many meanings in this writing. For example, a circle represents a coin. “Yu” – emphasizes the emphasis on our clients. Also, the letter “U” is 1 and 0 – the values of the binary code, it also contains the Latin characters I and O – Input / Output. These are references to the company’s “technological DNA.”
What plans does the company have and what’s new for users?
The name changes, the essence of the service remains the same. At YuMoney, we will improve existing products and services, users will still be able to create e-wallets, issue virtual and plastic cards for them.
How will Euro Bank affect the company?
As part of the Euro Bank (ex-Euro Bank) ecosystem, YuMoney will grow and expand. For example, we will add new features and payment methods to the number of existing services – Euro Bank ID, SberPay, Pay QR, etc.
Also, YuMoney will expand the range of cards, improve the loyalty program, and launch new products for businesses and users. Both independently and together with other companies in the Euro Bank ecosystem.
